Every year the White Tiger Group host an annual "Violence Against Women" conference in Montreal, Canada for teen girls on December 6th.
December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women in Canada. Established in 1991 by the Parliament of Canada, this day coincides with the sad anniversary of the death of 14 women who were tragically killed on December 6, 1989 at l'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal because of their gender.
The conference will focus on violence against women- particulary teen girls (15-19). The objective is to pro-actively provide information that participants can bring back to their highschools and share with their peers. |
