Turn Off the Violence Week is a campaign coordinated by the Action Committee Against Violence that raises awareness and educates on the issues of violence. Events are held throughout the week and are open to interested individuals. Information on dates, registration and cost can be found below.

Family Violence Prevention Month

November is also Family Violence Prevention Month in Alberta, and serves to increase public awareness and mobilize communities about the issues of family violence. A campaign running throughout November will include public service announcements on radio and television, newspaper advertising and information packages distributed to provincial stakeholders.
